The Royal Tenenbaums

The MM - "Top Notch! The Oscars may have ignored this movie but you should not. You want to talk some Jive?"

Ed's Note - The rest of the Goliard Staff strongly agrees with this assessment and found the movie hilarious, intelligent, quirky and a pleasure to look at. Gene Hackman is priceless as Royal and the Wilson brothers perform with their usual panache. One of us was a little put off by the untimely death of an animal which did seem unnecessary but it was easily compensated for by the offbeat other scenes. We call Anderson a genius. One of the more enjoyable films of the last ten years.
